"Heart Of Gold" is a song written by Neil Young and released from the 1972 album, "Harvest".  The song went to number 1 on the charts and was ranked by Billboard as the no. 17 song for the year 1972.  Rolling Stone ranked it No. 297 on their list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.  Jean spent many hours on the harmonica parts alone for the song.  Whereas he wanted it to be played very authentically.  He uses the same classic harmonica type as Neil played on the song, a Hohner Marine Band.
